Privacy Policy

Last updated 15 July 2026 · LinkedOtter LLC

LinkedOtter LLC ("we", "us", "our") is a New York limited liability company at 440 Kent Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11249. We operate linkedotter.com and our AI-driven go-to-market services (event-led pipeline, outbound, and related tools, including our Showrunner platform). This policy explains what personal data we process when you visit this site or use our services, and your rights over it. For privacy questions or requests, contact privacy@linkedotter.com.

What we collect

Site visitors: contact details you submit through our forms (name, work email, company), and usage data collected via cookies and similar technologies (pages viewed, referrer, device/browser, approximate location, IP address) — see Cookies below.

Prospects and leads: when you request a resource, scorecard result, or demo, we collect the details you provide and may enrich them with publicly available business information (e.g. company, role) to qualify and route the request.

Customers: if you engage us or sign up for Showrunner, we also process account data, billing details (via our payment processor, who we do not store card numbers ourselves), and the data described in our product-specific privacy notices.

How we use it

We do not sell personal data.

Legal bases (GDPR)

Where GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (delivering services you've engaged us for), legitimate interests (responding to inquiries, securing and improving the site), consent (marketing emails, non-essential cookies — withdrawable at any time), and legal obligation.

Sub-processors

We rely on vetted vendors to run this site and our services, each processing data only on our instructions: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database, AWS-backed), Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics (site analytics), Cookiebot (consent management), and email/CRM tooling we use to respond to and route inquiries. Where we engage additional processors for a specific product (e.g. Showrunner), those are listed in that product's own privacy notice.

LinkedIn integration

What we access. If you connect your LinkedIn Page to Showrunner, we use LinkedIn's Community Management API to access, on your behalf and only within the permissions you approve on LinkedIn's consent screen: your Page's profile (name, logo, identifiers), the Page posts you link to an event, comments and reactions on those posts (including the commenting member's name, photo, and headline as LinkedIn provides them), engagement metrics, and the OAuth access token LinkedIn issues when you authorize us.

Why. One purpose: showing you the engagement on your own Page's posts — for example, mirroring comments on your live event's LinkedIn post into your show. We act as your processor for this data.

How long we keep LinkedIn data. We follow LinkedIn's storage limits, which are stricter than our general retention rules: other members' profile details (a commenter's name or photo) are cached for at most 24 hours and never stored; comments, reactions, and similar member activity are kept for at most 48 hours; your own Page's content may be kept up to six months while your Page stays connected; Page-level statistics up to one year. Where limits overlap, the shortest wins.

Disconnecting and deleting. You can disconnect LinkedIn inside Showrunner at any time, or revoke our access on LinkedIn under Settings & Privacy → Data privacy → Other applications → Permitted services. On disconnect, account closure, or a request to privacy@linkedotter.com, we immediately delete the LinkedIn data we hold for you and invalidate the access token, purging residual copies within 10 days. LinkedIn members whose comments appear in Showrunner can request deletion at the same address. If the service ever ceases operating, all stored LinkedIn data is deleted.

What we never do with LinkedIn data. We never sell LinkedIn member data or share it with data brokers or resellers, and we never use it for advertising, lead generation, audience building, CRM enrichment, recruiting, or to infer sensitive characteristics — it is used only to provide Showrunner to you. If we ever materially change how we use LinkedIn data, we will notify you first and ask for consent again.

LinkedIn's own terms. Your use of LinkedIn itself remains governed by LinkedIn's User Agreement and Privacy Policy; content you remove in Showrunner may still exist on LinkedIn, where you can remove it directly.

Cookies & tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functionality, analytics, and (where you consent) marketing. On your first visit, our consent banner lets you accept or decline non-essential categories; you can change your choice at any time via the cookie settings link in the footer. See our Cookie Policy for the full list of cookies, their purpose, and duration.

Retention

We keep inquiry and lead data for as long as needed to respond to your request and for a reasonable follow-up period, then delete or anonymize it. Customer data is retained while your account or engagement is active and as needed for legal or operational reasons. You can request earlier deletion at any time.

Your rights

Subject to your jurisdiction, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection, and you may withdraw consent at any time. Submit a request through our data request form, or email privacy@linkedotter.com, and we will respond within the legally required time (we may first need to verify your identity). Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe that feeds a global suppression list.

California privacy (CCPA/CPRA)

We do not "sell" your personal information, and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined under the CCPA/CPRA. You may submit a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" request to privacy@linkedotter.com. California residents have the right to know, access, correct, and delete the personal information we hold about them, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

Security

We use TLS in transit, access controls limiting who can reach production data, and vetted sub-processors under data-processing agreements. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data appropriately for its sensitivity.

Children

Our services are directed at businesses and are not directed to children under 16; we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We will post material changes to this policy here and update the date above.
